Tripoli: A dialogue seminar focusing on the issue of illegal immigration was convened at the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development headquarters, with the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity taking part in the discussions.

According to Libyan News Agency, the seminar took place on Sunday morning and included participation from the Director of the College of Graduate Studies for Security Sciences, who represented the Ministry of Interior. Other attendees comprised representatives from the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the General Authority for Communications, and the Internal Security Service.

The seminar was organized with the aim of unifying national efforts to tackle the challenges posed by illegal immigration, which include security, economic, and cultural impacts. Additionally, the discussions delved into the issue of resettlement and its projected future effects on Libyan society.
