Tripoli: The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity deported Sudanese refugees to their country via Tripoli's Mitiga International Airport after completing the necessary procedures, in coordination with the Sudanese Embassy in Libya.

According to Libyan News Agency, the deportation process comes in response to a request from the Sudanese government and the refugees' own wishes. The Ministry confirmed that a specialized committee was formed to oversee the implementation within the legal framework.
