Dbaiba Pledges Justice for Victims of 2019 Tripoli War


Tripoli: Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbaiba met with representatives of those affected by the 2019 Tripoli war at his office in the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday.



According to Libyan News Agency, Dbaiba expressed his sympathy for those affected during the meeting, emphasizing his understanding of their suffering and the need to provide them with justice commensurate with the extent of the damage they suffered.



The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of raising the issue publicly in an organized manner to ensure the voices of those affected are heard effectively. He emphasized that the government will work to study the issue of reparations and compensation for those affected, according to clear priorities and sound and realistic principles that take into account available resources.



Dbaiba reiterated the government’s commitment to following up on this issue and tasked relevant authorities with developing practical solutions to achieve justice and meet the aspirations of those affected.
