Beirut: The Minister of Culture represented the Presidents of the Republic and the Prime Minister at the celebration of L’Orient-Le Jour and met with former French President Hollande. The Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salam©, represented the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and Prime Minister, Judge Nawaf Salam, at the celebration of the 101st anniversary of the newspaper L’Orient-Le Jour, which was attended by numerous political and diplomatic figures at the Hippodrome.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, on the sidelines of the celebration, Minister Salam© met with former French President Fran§ois Hollande, with whom he has a long-standing friendship. It is worth noting that President Hollande participated in a conference during which he was interviewed by Anthony Samrani, editor-in-chief of Al-Jarida.

It should be noted that the centenary celebration was postponed this year due to the war in Lebanon last year.
