Tripoli: The Criminal Research and Training Center concluded its fifth training course designed for Deputy Public Prosecutors at its headquarters. The course, organized in conjunction with Expertise France, targeted twenty-one participants, including Directors of Public Order Prosecutions and Directors of Illegal Immigration Prosecutions. These individuals operate within the jurisdictions of Courts of Appeal in Sabha, Tobruk, Al-Bayda, Benghazi, Misrata, Al-Khoms, Gharyan, Al-Zawiya, South Tripoli, and North Tripoli.According to Libyan News Agency, the aim of the training was to prepare certified trainers to enhance capacity building across the criminal justice system. The Center intends to achieve this through trainers from the Public Prosecution, judicial bodies, and other justice frameworks. This goal aligns with the Center's strategic plan, focusing on training localization, technical cooperation, and international participation in organizing and managing technical support initiatives.The Public Prose cutor's Office highlighted that the training activity was conducted in partnership with Expertise France, under an international technical cooperation agreement. This agreement was signed on April 7, 2026, building on a previous cooperation pact initiated on October 16, 2024, during the inauguration of the Public Prosecutor's International Book Fair.
