Tripoli: The Central Bank of Libya has issued a warning regarding a fraudulent website that falsely claims to offer credit card verification services. The bank emphasized that it has no affiliation with the website "cbl.cards" and cautioned citizens against interacting with it.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Central Bank of Libya confirmed that its sole official website is "cbl.gov.ly." The bank urged citizens to avoid using unofficial websites, as they pose a risk to personal and financial data. In an official statement released on its website, the bank advised the public to verify the authenticity of electronic links and to rely exclusively on the bank's official channels for any inquiries or to confirm the accuracy of information.
