BAYDA - SABA: Bayda governor Abdullah Idris inaugurated on Monday several new health projects in Mukayras district, including developments at Martyr Omar Ali Hospital and Arib Health Center.Accompanied by province undersecretary governor Saleh al Mansouri, Mukayras district Director Yasser Jahlan, and Health Office Director Dr. Mujahid al Khatri, governor Idris opened the new Operations Department at Martyr Omar Ali Hospital, which cost 12.72 million riyals.Additionally, the Intensive Care Department was inaugurated with funding of 32.12 million riyals from OCHA, and a solar energy system with a 45-kilowatt capacity was launched, funded by UNOPS at a cost of 97 million riyals.The Governor also inaugurated a solar energy project at Arib Health Center, featuring a 15-kilowatt system funded by UNOPS at a cost of 39.75 million riyals.During the ceremony, Governor Idris received a briefing from the Mukayras District Director about the projects' expected benefits in enhancing medical services for local res idents and neighboring areas. He praised the governorate's leadership for their commitment to monitoring and supporting these service projects and expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Health and its partners for their contributions.Governor Idris emphasized the local authority's dedication to improving services and easing citizen hardships amid ongoing aggression and blockade. He highlighted that these health projects address critical needs and are part of a broader effort to enhance public services.He also commended the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council for their support in advancing service and development projects throughout the province.Source: Yemen News Agency
