Tripoli: The President of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, met with the acting Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, members of the negotiating team, and relevant departments within the Bureau to discuss the Bureau's report on the study and evaluation of the negotiation position with the Waha partners.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing the financial, legal, and technical aspects outlined in the report. The Audit Bureau presented its observations and recommendations, aiming to improve negotiation efficiency and ensure optimal returns on public funds.
The discussions emphasized a set of recommendations designed to protect the rights of all parties involved. There was a strong focus on the importance of supporting investment in the oil sector, which plays a crucial role in stabilizing production rates and boosting oil revenues.
