Amran governor inaugurates service projects in Thala’a district

Amran Governor Dr. Faisal Jumaan, along with the Executive Director of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Administration, Local and Rural Development Ministry Engineer Shihab Al-Shami, inaugurated on Thursday 41 community initiative projects in Thala'a district, with the unit's contribution of cement and diesel.The projects included paving and constructing a number of rural roads in the areas of the district, rehabilitating and restoring the May 22 school in Bani Al Abbas, building a community hall in the district, and building protection walls to drain flood waters in Hababa district at an estimated cost of 605 million riyals, of which 468 million riyals were community initiatives.In addition, Governor Jumaan and the visitors inspected a number of projects under implementation in the paving of a number of roads in Hababa district, where they listened to an explanation from those in charge of the projects about the work progress , what has been achieved and the necessary needs to complete the projects.Governor Jumaan and the Executive Director of the Emergency Intervention Unit also handed over an air compressor to the directorate as part of efforts to support the success of community initiatives provided by the unit and the local authority.Source: Yemen News Agency
