Tripoli: Attorney General Al-Siddiq Al-Sour engaged in discussions with Karim Khan, the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), regarding the latest developments in the court’s investigations into serious violations, emphasizing the principle of integration between national and international judiciaries. According to the Attorney General’s Office, these discussions took place on Monday in Tripoli.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on mutual cooperation to ensure justice for victims and prevent perpetrators from evading prosecution. This collaboration involved the participation of the three authorities within the State of Libya, aiming to establish effective mechanisms for accountability and justice.
The meeting saw participation from several of Khan’s assistants who are directly involved with the Libyan situation, as well as Libya’s court coordinator. The discussions also included the exchange of experiences and the provision of technical support to advance research on share
d interests between the national and international entities.
