Al-Sour and Issa Discuss Central Bank’s Anti-Speculation Efforts

Tripoli: Attorney General Al-Siddiq Al-Sour met with Naji Issa, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, to review strategies aimed at curbing illegal currency speculation. The discussion, held on Wednesday, centered around the bank's policies designed to address currency price fluctuations.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting highlighted efforts to mitigate the detrimental effects of speculation on the economy, which is safeguarded by criminal law. Additionally, the dialogue covered measures against money laundering and examined the administrative and financial strategies implemented by the Central Bank to apply the term contracts method for fuel supplies.
