Tripoli: The Chairman of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohamed Al-Mnifi, convened with members of the 5+5 Joint Military Committee for the western region to address the latest military and security developments.
According to Libyan News Agency, the media office of the Chairman of the Presidential Council reported that the meeting centered on de-escalation efforts spearheaded by Al-Mnifi. These efforts are aimed at achieving security and political stability and fostering comprehensive peace across the nation. A significant point of discussion was the implementation of a ceasefire throughout Libya.
The committee also provided a detailed briefing on the outcomes of its recent meeting in Tunisia, highlighting the focus on unifying the military establishment.
