Tripoli: Taher Al-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, engaged in discussions with Arian Ulenzeif, the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Libya, focusing on arrangements for resuming the work of the Dutch embassy in Tripoli and the issuance of visas to Libyan citizens. The meeting also addressed the logistical and security aspects necessary for these endeavors.

According to Libyan News Agency, the discussion, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tripoli, extended to bilateral relations and ways to enhance joint cooperation in fields that serve mutual interests, aiming to consolidate the Libyan-Dutch partnership. Key issues such as irregular migration and border management were explored, with a view to supporting sustainable development programs that tackle migration's root causes, thereby fostering stability and development in Libya and the surrounding region.

The dialogue also included an exchange of views on the latest political developments in Libya. Both parties considered strategies to support the peaceful process and political dialogue, which are essential for finding consensual solutions that contribute to Libya's stability and the strengthening of its state institutions.
