Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met today with the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Brent, to discuss ways to support stability and end the transitional phases.According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry stated on its official page that the meeting addressed ways to enhance communication and coordination between the two countries on political and economic issues in a manner that serves their common interests.The meeting also reviewed a number of files of mutual interest, and the two sides exchanged views on regional and international developments. They discussed the evolving political situation in Libya and the importance of supporting stability and advancing the political process towards achieving a comprehensive national consensus that leads to elections and the end of the transitional phases.
