Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Civil Service, Ali Al-Abed, conducted a meeting with the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority to address the ongoing issue of job releases within public agencies. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance along with relevant committees from both ministries.
According to Libyan News Agency, during the meeting, the Minister presented the results of the release system. Approximately 210,000 employees' data were registered, out of which 94,775 employees were released. The procedures concerning 92,182 employees were scrutinized to ensure their integrity, and these were subsequently forwarded to the Council of Ministers for the necessary financial allocations.
Al-Abed emphasized the Ministry's commitment to organizing job structures and resolving past backlogs. He assured that employee rights would be maintained in accordance with transparent and organized regulations.
Furthermore, the meeting declared the lifting of employment restrictions, provided there is full adherence to approved legal procedures.
