Abu ghaffa: The Minister of Finance of the Government of National Unity, Rashid Saleh Abu Ghaffa, issued a decree forming a committee tasked with nominating financial controllers and their assistants for postings abroad. The committee, chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Audit Affairs, will be responsible for nominating individuals to work in embassies, consulates, and diplomatic missions abroad.
According to Libyan News Agency, the committee will follow the criteria and regulations stipulated in Ministerial Decree No. (612) of 2024 and other relevant legislation. The decree’s objective is to ensure equal opportunities for all employees of audit offices and financial services departments, emphasizing the competence and professional capabilities of the nominees.
The nominations will adhere to the established criteria and regulations and will require verification by the committee to ensure they meet the necessary requirements before approval.
