An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude struck Sunday south of the Kermadec Islands off the coast of New Zealand.The earthquake occurred at a depth of 39 km, while no tsunami warnings were issued, the US Geological Survey reported.No reports of human losses or material damage due to the earthquake so far.The Kermadec Islands are about 1,000 km northeast of New Zealand's North Island and are often exposed to strong earthquakes.Source: Qatar News Agency
