444 Combat Brigade Arrests Drug Dealer in Central Tripoli

Tripoli: 444 Combat Brigade was able to arrest a drug dealer while he was selling cocaine in central Tripoli. Army units affiliated with the 444 Combat Brigade arrested Islah Al-Hadi Shanaq while he was selling cocaine in the heart of the city.

According to Libyan News Agency, the brigade's media office stated on its official Facebook page that the arrest was the result of meticulous monitoring and investigation. A tight ambush was set up, leading to Shanaq's arrest red-handed with more than a kilogram of cocaine in his possession.

The 444 Combat Brigade confirmed that legal action will be taken against him. An investigation will be opened in preparation for his referral to the Public Prosecution.
