USAID and Libya’s Ministry of Planning Forge New Partnership Agreement


TRIPOLI: USAID and the Ministry of Planning have signed a new partnership agreement aimed at enhancing cooperation to bolster Libya’s planning and development frameworks. The agreement, signed in Tripoli, seeks to strengthen national capacities, improve governance, and optimize resource allocation to support the Libyan populace.

According to Libyan News Agency, the U.S. Embassy indicated via a tweet that this agreement is part of the Enhanced Partnerships for Institutional Capacity (EPIC) activity undertaken by USAID. The initiative is designed to reinforce effective governance and enhance the ability of Libyan institutions to manage resources effectively.

USAID maintains multiple partnership agreements with both governmental and public institutions in Tripoli. In addition to these agreements, USAID is actively involved in various work programs implemented in collaboration with relevant authorities to support Libya’s development goals.
