Tripoli: UNICEF Libya sent relief supplies to the municipalities of Thala and Ghat in southern Libya to confront the repercussions of the floods that swept the region.The organization said in a statement that sending the shipments, which included food and hygiene kits, was done in cooperation with its partner, the Libyan Red Crescent.The organization stressed that the severe weather conditions that have become more frequent than ever before force us to take urgent measures to protect children from the effects and dangers of climate change.'Extreme weather is becoming more frequent, putting countless children at risk.
