U.S. Advisor Emphasizes Military and Budget Unification for Libya’s Stability

Benghazi: U.S. Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos, has highlighted the critical need for military and budget unification to bolster stability in Libya during his recent meetings in Benghazi. Boulos met with key Libyan figures, including the House of Representatives Speaker Agila Saleh, LNA Deputy Commander Saddam Haftar, and Libya Reconstruction Fund Head Bilgassem Haftar, describing these discussions as productive.

According to Libyan News Agency, Boulos emphasized the importance of U.S. support for Libya's efforts to unify its military, a move seen as pivotal in promoting the country's stability. In a tweet, Boulos noted the significance of this path in fostering a secure environment for the Libyan people.

The meetings also focused on Libya's expanding partnerships with U.S. companies, which are seen as vital in tapping into the country's vast potential and aiding in its economic development.
