Benghazi: A Turkish economic and trade delegation commenced its visit to Benghazi with a series of official meetings aimed at enhancing investment and economic cooperation between Turkey and Libya. The delegation, which arrived on Friday morning, began its visit by engaging with Emar Libya Holding.According to Libyan News Agency, Emar Libya's Executive Director, Advisor Fouad Al-Awam, highlighted that the delegation's meeting took place at the company's headquarters. Attendees included the Mayor of Bursa, the Head of the Bursa trade delegation, the Head of the Bursa Businessmen's Association, the Director of the Office of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and various members of the political and trade delegation.Al-Awam reported that discussions focused on opportunities for joint cooperation. They also signed several agreements and memoranda of understanding, and explored mechanisms for exchanging investment visits between the two parties. The program further included a field visit to Emar Libya's L otus project to assess the implementation phases and available investment opportunities.He noted that these meetings are part of efforts to strengthen economic and investment partnerships, support development initiatives, and stimulate investment activity in Benghazi.
