Tripoli: The city of Tripoli is set to host the 5th Arab Conference on Savings and Financial Literacy from September 7 to 9, 2026. The event will see participation from Arab central bank governors, finance ministers, and representatives from regional and international financial institutions.
According to Libyan News Agency, the conference is being organized under the patronage of Naji Issa, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya. It aims to promote financial awareness, consolidate the concepts of saving and financial inclusion, and support economic stability in the Arab region.
The conference will cover a range of topics related to financial literacy, innovation in banking services, and the role of financial awareness in bolstering national economies. It will also feature the launch of scientific and community initiatives and competitions targeting researchers, content creators, and institutions.
Serving as a regional platform, the conference will facilitate the exchange of expertise among central banks and financial institutions, contributing to the development of financial policies and the promotion of sustainable economic development across Arab countries.
