Tripoli: The Tripoli Court of Appeal sentenced Abdul Rahim al-Fitouri Amsak to life imprisonment on Sunday after convicting him of involvement in a drug trafficking gang.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Public Prosecutor's Office explained that the Arab and International Criminal Police Office had previously sent the wanted man, Abdul Rahim al-Fitouri Amsak, extradition papers from the corresponding central office.
The office added that the Tripoli Court of Appeal ruled in its last session to sentence the convict to life imprisonment, fine him 50,000 dinars, permanently deprive him of his civil rights, and disqualify him from legal capacity.
