Tripoli: The British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, expressed his country's readiness to provide technical and advisory support to the High National Elections Commission, which will enhance its readiness to accomplish the expected entitlements.This came during a meeting between the Chairman of the Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, and the British Ambassador at the headquarters of the Elections Commission in Tripoli today, Monday.Ambassador (Longden) expressed his country's government's appreciation for the Commission's efforts aimed at holding elections according to the highest standards in force in the world.According to the Commission, this visit comes within the framework of the international community's support for the democratic path in Libya, and to review the level of readiness of the Commission to implement the 2024 municipal council elections and prepare for Election Day.Source: Libyan News Agency
