Tunis: The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, Hanna Tetteh, met with members of the 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) in Tunis on Thursday to discuss the progress made in implementing and sustaining the ceasefire agreement.According to Libyan News Agency, the UN mission issued a statement highlighting the discussions during the meeting, which focused on the advancements in the ceasefire agreement's execution.The 5+5 Joint Military Commission reiterated its commitment, alongside its subcommittees, to fortifying the ceasefire and ensuring the withdrawal of foreign forces, foreign fighters, and mercenaries. This effort aims to enhance security and stability in Libya. Furthermore, the commission members stressed the significance of advancing the political process to support the country's security objectives.
