stc Group Announces Collaboration Agreements Under Sustainability Champions Program at FII8.


Riyadh: stc Group, a leading digital enabler and strategic partner of Future Investment Initiative 8th Edition (FII8), announced today in a press release the inclusion of three companies collaborating with the Group as part of the Sustainability Champions program at the 8th Edition of FII in Riyadh. The Group reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability, connectivity, and technological advancement during the event, themed ‘Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow’.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the companies joining the program are Alat, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company focusing on transforming global industries, particularly electronics and industrials, by creating a top-tier manufacturing hub in Saudi Arabia. Alat leverages clean energy to drive sustainability, innovation, and industrial development. The second is Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, the largest private healthcare provider in the Middle East. The company offers a wide array of healthcare services, pharmacy operations,
and technology solutions. It operates over 2,000 beds across more than 25 medical facilities in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The third company is solutions by stc, a pioneer in information technology services within the Kingdom, providing a comprehensive range of integrated technology solutions to facilitate digital transformation in both public and private sectors. The company offers core ICT services to help businesses seamlessly manage and scale their daily operations.

CEO of Alat Amit Midha, CEO of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group Faisal Al Nassar, and CEO of solutions by stc Eng. Omer Alnomany signed pledges at the FII8 to participate in the Sustainability Champions Program. This program aligns with FII’s ambitions to address critical global issues through creative thinking and sustainable growth.

“stc Group will support the three companies in, but not limited to, assessing their current sustainability baseline and developing a roadmap to further improve sustainability practices,” the
release stated.

The program is a knowledge transfer and partnership initiative aimed at elevating sustainability practices across the private sector in Saudi Arabia. According to the release, stc Group was shortlisted as one of the top-performing Saudi companies in corporate sustainability along with 19 other entities across seven sectors, reflecting the continuous efforts by stc Group to focus on sustainability within its operations.
