Supreme Political Council member Mohammed Al-Houthi on Thursday affirmed that whoever stands far from defending the homeland, and was not moved by the crimes and massacres committed by the aggression coalition against the Yemeni people, cannot portray himself as the savior.
Al-Houthi said on the X platform "Some insist on not being aware that the Republic of Yemen has faced and is facing aggression and a blockade that has been continuing to this day for more than eight years, and does not want to understand that any country facing aggression - whatever its capabilities - needs a stage of recovery." After the battle stops, even if the targeted country is one of the richest countries, let alone the Republic of Yemen, which was classified - basically - before the aggression as a developing country below the poverty line.
He pointed out that the Republic of Yemen has reached a more dangerous level than that, as the Yemeni people are living in the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, according to the United Nations, due to the US-British-Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade and those with them in the alliance of evil.
He added "Objectivity, patriotism, justice, and credibility require that they call things by their names, so they blame the countries of aggression for what the Republic of Yemen is suffering, and that they stand side by side with those who face this aggression from among the sons and tribes of the Yemeni people who offer the precious for the sake of the country's independence, sovereignty, and the people's freedom and dignity."
He said "There is no need to outbid or remain in the gray zone because whoever stands far from defending the homeland was not moved by all those crimes and massacres committed by the coalition of aggression and siege against our oppressed people, and he has not yet paid attention to the disastrous results of the economic war declared and implemented by the countries of aggression, led by stopping salaries by preventing the delivery and export of the people's resources to benefit from their wealth throughout these years, he cannot portray himself as the savior, just as he who enlisted himself with the aggression cannot do that.
The senior political member pointed out that if countries need to recover from Corona until the year 2030, according to the World Bank report, then how much will the Republic of Yemen need, which has faced the epidemic, military aggression and the ongoing blockade so far.
