Saudi Scouts Participate in Meetings of Arab Scout Region in Cairo

he Saudi Scout delegation, led by Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Mudaris, took part in the Arab Scout Region meeting held yesterday as part of the 43rd World Scout Conference.Key agenda items were addressed, including the upcoming regional scout plan, the global scout plan for 2024-2027, and strategies to enhance youth participation in the scout movement.Discussions also focused on unifying the Arab scout position to vote on proposed constitutional amendments and regulations pertaining to the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Moreover, the delegation voted on future global scout event hosts, and the election of World Scout Committee members.The meeting concluded with the adoption of crucial decisions and recommendations designed to ensure the effective participation of Arab scouts in the global forum.The World Organization of the Scout Movement oversees five global regional offices in African, Arab, Asia-Pacific, European, and American regions.Source: Saudi Press Agency
