Diriyah Art Futures (DAF), a leading New Media Arts center in Saudi Arabia, has disclosed the names of the 12 successful applicants selected to participate in its inaugural Emerging New Media Artists Program.As per a press release from DAF, the program, set to begin later this year, will feature a group of talented individuals from various creative fields and backgrounds, preponderantly from Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.Running for one year, the program offers access to cutting-edge professional equipment and facilities, a production budget, learning experiences with international experts in New Media Art, and personal mentorships of renowned international digital artists.Designed in collaboration with Le Fresnoy - Studio National des Arts Contemporains in France, the program is part of a broader partnership between the Ministry of Culture and Diriyah Company, aimed at facilitating creativity in the realms of art, technology and academia."Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Diriyah , DAF seeks to establish Riyadh as a global capital of New Media Art and empower the next generation of creative pioneers," reads the release.Source: Saudi Press Agency
