Russia Announces Killing of 255 Ukrainian Soldiers

Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that over 255 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 36 drones were destroyed during various operations in both Russian and Ukrainian regions over the past few hours.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the ministry said that Russian air defense systems shot down 36 Ukrainian drones flying over the regions of Kursk, Bryansk, Kaluga, Smolensk, and Moscow.

The Russia-Ukraine war, now in its third year, continues to witness escalating ground battles and daily exchanges of strikes and accusations between the two sides. Conflicting reports and the ongoing fighting across multiple fronts make it difficult to obtain independent and reliable information about developments on the ground.
