Tarhuna: The Red Crescent in Tarhuna has declared a state of emergency as the city faces severe weather fluctuations and heavy rains. The Libyan Red Crescent's Emergency and Ambulance Team has heightened its alert level to full readiness to deal with the challenging weather conditions impacting the region.

According to Libyan News Agency, the team announced in a statement on its official page that these actions are part of proactive measures to manage potential emergencies resulting from the unstable weather. The aim is to ensure a swift response to humanitarian needs and emergency situations.

The Emergency and Ambulance Team has called on citizens to remain cautious, particularly by avoiding low-lying areas and floodplains. It also emphasized the importance of following safety instructions to ensure personal and community safety.
