Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtour emphasized the great national and moral responsibility of the National Salvation Government and society and its active forces towards the segments of persons with special needs.
During his meeting on Monday, the Prime Minister noted a group of young people from the deaf and dumb sector and the Government's desire to strengthen the care and support of this important social segment and to realize its influential role in the administrative and development tracks and work to resolve the problems it faces.
He directed all relevant government agencies to overcome the various difficulties and challenges facing this important segment of society. He pointed out that official and community bodies are called upon to strengthen their efforts to rehabilitate and develop their capacities and strengthen their vital role in society.
The Prime Minister was briefed on the situation of the young people he met in particular and their colleagues in general, the nature of the challenges facing them and the role of stakeholders in addressing them in order to sustain their working lives in various institutions.
