The House of Representatives, in its session on Monday, headed by Deputy Speaker Abdul Salam Saleh Hashul Zabiya, reviewed the report of the Local Authority Committee.
The report included an evaluation of the level of collection of local, joint and joint public financial resources collected during the first half of the year 1444 AH at the level of administrative units in the capital's secretariat and the provinces.
The report included the levels of actual collection of local resources and a summary of the local financial resources collected for the first half of the past year, compared to the link and the return at the level of the Republic, as well as the shared resources at the level of the provinces with the summary.
The report also includes details of shared public resources, as well as a table showing the amounts collected at the level of revenue streams and what is related to the percentage allocated to the local authority from the funds’ resources.
The report concluded with a number of observations, conclusions and recommendations.
The House of Representatives postponed discussion of the report to a next session in the presence of the concerned government side.
In the session attended by the Minister of State for Parliament and Shura Council Affairs, Dr. Ali Abdullah Abu Haliqa, the House of Representatives listened to the complaint of the students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences - the third and fourth batches at Hodeida University merged with batch 32 of Sana’a University, which was transferred to Sana’a University in 2017 AD due to exposure of the Faculty of Medicine Al-Hodeida was bombed, which led to its destruction and the complete cessation of studies.
The complaint stated that they were not given graduation documents after completing their studies, demanding to address the concerned authorities to grant them graduation documents according to the entitlements granted to graduates.
After the discussion, the House of Representatives decided to address the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, President of the Supreme Council of Universities, to address the issue of students and give them the documents that are granted to similar graduates after completing their studies.
The council had started its session by reviewing its previous minutes and approved it after making some corrections to it. It will continue to hold its business sessions tomorrow, Tuesday, God willing
