Opening of the Second Edition of the Public Prosecution International Book Fair in Tripoli


Tripoli: The second edition of the Public Prosecution International Book Fair commenced at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds, showcasing participation from numerous local and international publishing houses. The exhibition was inaugurated by Attorney General Counselor Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, with the presence of Issam Al-Aoul, Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, along with members of the Supreme Judicial Council. The event also witnessed attendance from several members of the diplomatic corps, ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, and a group of writers, intellectuals, and media professionals.



According to Libyan News Agency, the event is sponsored and organized by the Office of the Attorney General and the Criminal Research and Training Center, and is supervised by the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences. The fair features participation from local and international publishing houses, presenting hundreds of titles spanning thought, literature, law, and the humanities.



The exhibition, which opened to visitors today and will continue until October 25, offers book signings, dialogue sessions, and workshops for those interested in reading and culture.
