Tripoli: The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has revealed that discussions have been held with the German company Everlens regarding advanced technology to enhance gas production from offshore platforms.

According to Libyan News Agency, the NOC explained that the Maintenance Engineering and Small Projects Department at the Corporation held an expanded meeting at the Corporation's headquarters in Tripoli with officials from the German company Everlens, Switzerland branch, formerly known as MAN Energy Solutions, which specializes in energy solutions and industrial compressors.

The meeting focused on reviewing the offshore gas compressor technology developed by the company and examining the possibility of applying it within the Corporation's future projects. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and production reliability on offshore platforms. The meeting also explored prospects for technical cooperation and exchange of expertise, supporting the Corporation's efforts to modernize its infrastructure and achieve sustainable transformation in partnership with specialized international companies.

The Corporation indicated that the meeting was attended by project and maintenance supervisors from the Maintenance Engineering and Small Projects Department, the acting Director of Major Projects, along with specialists from the Corporation, officials from the German company's Swiss branch, and representatives from the maintenance and projects departments of Mellitah Oil and Gas Company and Mabrouk Oil Operations Company.
