National Security Committee Addresses Concerns Over Expatriate Workers Without Legal Controls


Tripoli: The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, convened a meeting with the Council’s National Security Committee to deliberate on the pressing issue of illegal immigration and the presence of migrant workers lacking legal and health regulations in the country.



According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting, which took place at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli, underscored the necessity to formulate a program in collaboration with relevant security, service, and regulatory bodies. The objective is to mitigate illegal immigration in a manner that aligns with the country’s interests while addressing related criminal activities.
