Musa Al-Koni Advocates for Withdrawal of Foreign Forces from Libya


Tripoli: The withdrawal of foreign forces from Libya has been emphasized as a crucial demand by Musa Al-Koni, a member of the Presidential Council. Al-Koni highlighted this as a significant step in resolving the ongoing Libyan crisis and stressed its importance in unifying the nation and reaching a consensus among the Libyan people. His remarks came in response to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s recent call for the removal of these forces.



According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Koni expressed his views via a tweet on the X platform, where he voiced his support for President El-Sisi’s appeal. He stated, “While I welcome President El-Sisi’s call to withdraw foreign forces from Libya, I stress that this is a fundamental demand of the people, a foundation for the most important step toward resolving the Libyan crisis, and a top priority in efforts to unify the country and achieve consensus among the nation.”



Al-Koni further urged both Libyan and international parties to expedite the process, emphasizing the need for a unified reality for the nation.
