Tripoli: Minister of Justice Halima Ibrahim of the Government of National Unity met yesterday with the Head of the Judicial Expertise and Research Center and the Director of the Forensic Medicine Institute. The meeting focused on the ongoing developments at both the Center and the newly established Forensic Medicine Institute, an initiative by the Ministry of Justice to enhance training in forensic medicine.According to Libyan News Agency, discussions during the meeting included a presentation on the preparatory arrangements for the first Forensic Medicine Conference. This conference, organized by the Center along with the Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Institute, aims to showcase the latest advancements in forensic medicine and toxicology. It will also provide training opportunities for doctors and professionals in the field, reinforcing the commitment to advancing forensic sciences in the region.
