Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated yesterday in the GCC Coordinating Ministerial Meeting, held on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.Discussed at the meeting were Gulf cooperation and the latest regional and international developments, with a focus on the situation in Gaza Strip, the need for an immediate ceasefire, and securing corridors for the delivery of humanitarian aid.The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship Ambassador Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz AlWasil, Director-General of the Foreign Minister's Office Abdulrahman Aldawood, and Director of the GCC Department Anas Alwasedy.Source: Saudi Press Agency
