Libyan Government Expresses Condolences to Venezuela Following Earthquakes

Tripoli: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity has extended its deepest condolences and sympathy to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, its government, and its people. This comes in the wake of two devastating earthquakes that struck the country, resulting in numerous casualties and widespread damage. According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry released a statement on its official page expressing heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. It affirmed Libya's full solidarity with Venezuela in dealing with the consequences of this natural disaster and extended support to all those affected by the humanitarian and material ramifications. The Ministry also conveyed its wishes for a swift recovery for the injured and expressed hope for the Venezuelan people to overcome the crisis soon. The earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, caused significant human and material losses in Caracas and neighboring states.
