Libyan and Tunisian Officials Discuss Enhanced Intelligence Cooperation

Tripoli: Libyan Chief of Staff, Salah al-Din al-Namroush, met today with the Director General of the Tunisian Defense Intelligence and Security Agency, Habib Ben Saleh al-Dhaif, to discuss ways to enhance international cooperation, particularly in intelligence fields.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on developing and coordinating operations between the ground forces of Libya and Tunisia. The discussions emphasized the implementation of joint training programs and conducting field exercises along the border to strengthen security and military readiness between the two countries.

Both sides highlighted the importance of intensifying the exchange of information and expertise. They stressed the need for strengthened joint security coordination to support regional stability and protect the shared interests of Libya and Tunisia.
