Hadramout, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) on Friday organized a workshop for 20 teachers and educational guides to enhance female learning in Hadramout.
The workshop was organized in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as part of enrolling girls skipping classes back to schools.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to class skipping problems and social, cultural and economic reasons behind the phenomenon and its solutions.
The project includes providing support to girls who have dropped out of school by offering them educational opportunities and providing basic equipment to 21 schools, distributing 19,000 school bags, implementing training programs to develop the capabilities of 350 teachers and mentors, and preparing 64 alternative classrooms to ensure the absorption of girls in camps.
The assistance comes within the educational projects and programs the Kingdom implements in Yemen through its humanitarian arm KSrelief.
