Republic of Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev today received Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Chief Executive Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, in the presence of the Saudi ambassador to Kazakhstan, Faisal bin Hanif Al-Qahtani.They discussed opportunities for developmental cooperation through financing development projects and programs in various vital sectors to promote social growth and economic prosperity in Kazakhstan.The meeting took place in light of Al-Marshad's visit to participate in the roundtable meeting of the Arab Coordination Group.The SFD previously provided financing to Kazakhstan in 2000 to implement a project in the transport and communications sector through a development soft loan worth up to $12 million, which aimed to contribute to strengthening the road infrastructure in Kazakhstan.Source: Saudi Press Agency
