Japanese Diplomat Highlights Libya’s Environmental and Resource Importance.


Tripoli: The Chargé d’Affaires of the Japanese Embassy in Libya, Masaki Amadera, has highlighted the significance of Libya’s environmental diversity and abundant natural resources. He emphasized the country’s crucial role both on the African continent and globally during a meeting with Hussein Al-Qatrani, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring cooperation opportunities between Japan and Libya, particularly in agriculture and animal resources. Discussions also covered potential collaboration in technology transfer, capacity building, and agricultural investment, aiming to attract foreign investors to Libya.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Amadera extended an official invitation to Al-Qatrani to participate in the International Horticultural Exhibition, which is scheduled to be held in Japan in 2027.
