Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) President Dr. Mohammad Al-Jasser has participated in a roundtable discussion on partnerships for impact, organized by the World Bank under the theme 'Accelerating Progress through Working Together.' The event took place on the sidelines of the 2024 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in Washington.In his remarks, Dr. Al-Jasser emphasized the importance of data and knowledge partnerships in promoting regional and global development. He explained that data-driven knowledge has become a key asset in creating positive impacts, especially for resource-constrained developing economies.Dr. Al-Jasser highlighted collaborative knowledge initiatives such as the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative, the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, and the Asian Development Bank, which aim to achieve better data-driven development outcomes in member countries.He underscored that effective development hinges on cooperation in knowledge and data exchange, stressing the value of collaborative platforms in facilitating the sharing of research findings, best practices, and lessons learned across borders.Source: Saudi Press Agency
