Tehran: The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Friday summoned Nadine Lozano, the Swiss ambassador to Tehran, who represents US interests in Iran, to protest the Israeli aggression against the country and "Washington's support for it."

According to Qatar News Agency, the Iranian Foreign Ministry conveyed Tehran's strong condemnation and protest against this aggressive act and US support for it, stressing that this aggression violates all international norms and standards, as well as the UN Charter.

The Ministry also held Washington responsible for the serious and widespread repercussions resulting from these attacks.

The Israeli entity launched an airstrike this morning on several sites and targets across Iran, especially the capital, Tehran, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.
