Tripoli: The Ministry of Education of the Government of National Unity has reached an agreement with the Telecommunications Holding Company to distribute free school bags designed with health standards for students.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry of Education announced that the school bags are intended to prevent health issues such as spinal deformities and back curvature, which can result from carrying overloaded bags. This initiative is part of the Ministry's commitment to creating a safe and healthy learning environment and addressing the psychological needs of children under the slogan "Returning Life to Better Education."
The Ministry's official Facebook page shared that Minister-designate Ali Al-Abed met with Fawzia Ben Ghashir, Director of the Department of Social Services and School Health, to discuss enhancing cooperation with the Telecommunications Company. They aim to support institutional partnerships that contribute to the development of the education sector.
The Ministry plans to distribute these bags to all students in primary and secondary education at public education institutions, promoting social justice and equality, as stated in the Ministry's post.
