General Electricity Company Advances Power Transmission Line Project in Tripoli


Tripoli: The General Electricity Company is actively monitoring the advancement of the power transmission line project connecting West Tripoli to Al-Tabba. The company announced that efforts are underway to pull and lay wires for the critical 400 kV “West Tripoli – Al-Tabba” power transmission line.



According to Libyan News Agency, this transmission line serves as a key link between the West Tripoli, Al-Tabba, and Bir Al-Usta Milad power stations. Its primary function is to facilitate the transportation of electricity generated from these stations to the national grid.



The General Electricity Company highlighted that the project is essential for bolstering the electricity grid and addressing the increasing electricity demand in the region.
