General Board of Fairs and Senegalese Foreign Trade Center Ink Agreement on Cooperation.


Dakar: The General Board of Fairs has signed a cooperation agreement with the Senegalese Foreign Trade Center, marking a significant step in fostering trade relations between Libya and Senegal. The agreement was finalized during the opening of the Dakar International Fair.

According to Libyan News Agency, the agreement was signed by Issam Al-Aoul, Chairman of the Board’s Management Committee, and Justin Correa, Director of the Senegalese Foreign Trade Center. The signing ceremony was attended by the Chargé d’Affaires at the Libyan Embassy in Senegal, along with several officials from the embassy.

The primary objective of this agreement is to enhance collaboration in organizing fairs and facilitating the entry of Libyan products and services into African markets, thereby boosting Libya’s national exports. The agreement outlines the exchange of expertise between the two entities and encourages participation from Libyan and Senegalese companies in exhibitions hosted in both countries. Additionally, it includes
plans for organizing specialized events and exhibitions that showcase the economic capabilities of each party, potentially opening new avenues for trade and investment cooperation.
